Dulling a Scout/R

Has anyone dulled a Scout/R to better handle light-medium oil conditions? If so, would you please share how you did it?

It depends on how many revs you have. I have fairly high revs.  I dulled it down to about 500-600 with a green scotchbrite pad and I was able to use it in mediums playing right up the first arrow.  I also have a rico drilling on it.

What does "rico" drilling mean. I am still trying to determine my revs, and I've only bowled three practice games with my Scout/R. I would have to say I have medium revs.

I would recommend finding a local pro to help you with finding your rev rate.  Good luck.
