Title: Resurgence or Black Widow Solid

I am a medium speed medium rev player. I was wondering which of these two balls is the best overall

if your in more oil,  the resurgence,  on a light to med. pattern,  the black widow solid.

I seem to be struggling with carrydown lately.

The Resurgence is a much stronger ball than the Black widow. I would say about 8-10 boards. They are both great balls but one is for heavy oil and the other one is for medium. If you get the Resurgence then you need to drill it with the pin further from your pap and if that's still too strong then put a polish on it. If you get the Black widow you should drill it stronger like stack leverage. Good luck

Having had both, I can tell you that the Resurgence has more movement off the dry then the Black Widow.  Its a more dynamic ball ( at least for me) with more movement in general.  But if you have to play 5 board in your house and don't have the speed and revs then it can roll out.  It has a strong cover.  So you might need to keep the speed up on it, depending on your style and house conditon.  Our house puts out more oil then the Bowling This Month heavy oil reviews stats.  That's considered medium conditions in our world.

Thanks for the feedback. i guess i am looking for something I can play inside with and swing it out. My Big shot doesnt seem to handle carrydown very well and my Shift is nothing but a waste of money

If you have those two balls already and they're not working on carry down then go for the Resurgence. It will react better than the black widow on those conditions.

I've had the best luck with my resurgence playing more up the boards then crossing them.on a heavier long pattern this ball is great but it hasn't worked well chasing the oil inside.clean in the heads,strong mid lane and a smooth backend.when you do have oil the hit is awesome.

i have both balls and i must say the resurgence needs A LOT of oil in my opinion. i polished mine up a bit to be able to play on a tad less oil but still needs a lot. my widow is a great ball on any condition. i would go for that.

or wait for the new one. black widow bite. supose to have more backends than the OG Solid. might be better on oily lanes
