Which ball do you like the most?

Rival. It covers more conditions and is a very versitle, controllable ball. It is my favorite ball in my bag. Love the Resurgence in oil though too.

the rival is a better ball but on heavy heavy oil the resurgance is the best ball out

Rival - Most versatile ball I've ever owned

Resurgence - Just a monster, especially in oil.

Both ball are great balls on certain lane conditions. The Rival is very versatile and is great from medium to medium oil. The Resurgence is for heavy oil. Base your decision on lane conditions that you normally bowl on.

I would like to have the resurgence for the heavier oil in the tournaments i do but i'm worried how it will react on house shots, do you have any advice, i have medium to high revs and a ball speed of 16-20mph.

If you can throw a Beat'n on house shots, you shouldn't have any trouble with a Resurgence, it's a little tamer at the breakpoint.  Just drill it for length and add a little polish if necessary.
