Title: Resurgence question
Post by: strikestriketapped on April 28, 2009, 03:53:26 PM
Would a Resurgence at 4 1/4" pin to PAP, pin over ring go too long on heavier/longer patterns? My Virtual Gravity with the same pin position does. But I know the Resurgence is earlier rolling. I think my Virtual goes too long because of my lower revs and good axis rotation. Would the Resurgence at 1000 or even 500 abralon work?

It should. The Resurgence might not cover as many boards as a Virtual, but it should be less likely to slide through the breakpoint.

It should be fine at 1k Abralon.  You might not be able to play too much swing but in heavy it will still make the corner.

mine hooks like hell with that pin placement.  The core on the virtual is stronger, but the cover on the resurgence is borderline too much.
at 1000 i couldn't get it through the heads even when the lanes were oily!  i put a light polish on it and use it to open up the lanes once they have transitioned but are still wet and my other stuff won't make the turn
