Title: Resurgence v Momentum
Post by: ccrider on December 06, 2007, 08:33:54 AM
How do these two balls compare. I have a Gamebreaker and am looking for something above it.

Thanks

Charles

Saw a friend use his Momentum yesterday and while it's still pretty smooth it definitely makes a later break than the Resurgeance. Looks like it will be a very good ball.

the momentum is not a resurgence,  dull or polished.
it's a momentum> polished.

the resugence in the box finish is a strong oil ball.

the momentum in the box finish is a strong light to med. oil ball with a strong
arc type of backend.  not really flippy,  but strong with more control!!!

the first customer to buy one from us,  has the break, the rising, the resurgence, the black widow, the raid, etc.  his comment,  "ball does this ball have backend"

it's not a heavy oil ball,  nor would i call it a carry down ball!!!!!

it's a great ball on a normal house shot with clean backends!!!!

and it's a dam good looking ball!!!!!!!

I have to totally agree with jls, I was the first one in our shop to drill this baby up, and I must tell you on a freshly oiled and stripped lane this ball is a monster, very controllable, easily reads the heads and packs a punch. Don't be fooled by the cover, this ball loves friction.

After bowling about 10 games on the same pair, i was able to create some carry down, and with the proper adjustments with feet and hand this ball still packs a punch.

I would highly recommend this ball for not just league players but anyone serious about their game

Thanks for the replies. I think I will get the Resurgence for now. I have Too many medium and light oil balls to name. I am looking for a heavy oil ball and see that the Resurgence is the best choice.

You will not be disappointed in the Resurgence, a great heavy oil ball. Don't be afraid to drill it as strong as you would like, let the ball show you what it is capable of doing
