Looking for my first ball and thought of going used.  Any help and personal reviews with the Columbia 300 Rock?  If you know anything of the other two balls that would be great also.  If I can get them cheap I may just get two.

Actually went to my local brunswick and they had balls but the cheapest was $109 and midrange balls were $139 and high performance balls were $169.  This of course was with all the proper fitting.  

I see no reason for seeking a used ball and for a first ball I don't see myself committing to that much money at the moment.

theres nothing wrong with a used ball. i have a used rampage i plugged and redrilled.  you just have to make sure there are no gouges or anything on the track line you throw on.
