Resurgence vs Storm Secret Agent
« on: February 12, 2008, 03:25:30 PM »
Looking at one of these for heavier and/or longer patterns for control.  Plan on drilling with pin in ring finger and 20* cg angle (please forget the cgnomaddah for now.)

Can anyone give a decent comparison?  Specs in my profile.
Thanks

WP,
I am sure you will get better comparisons, but I'll get the topic started:

I haven't thrown the Secret Agent, but the Resurgence is a stronger ball the my Special Agent. If you are looking for a ball for heavier oil, I think the Resurgence is a very good bet. It has shown itself to very versatile as well. If you remember Wes Malott threw one for the first game on TV on the Cheetah pattern a few weeks ago, his was shined but I did not see or hear the drilling. So you can tweak the cover and the drilling to get the control you are looking for. But in the OOB with a strong drilling ( as I have mine) it makes a very controlled move in heavy oil, not jumpy by any means, just a smooth arc through the oil and through the pins.

Hope this helps.
