The Resurgence weight block doesn't even look anything like C300 past weight block. The ball actually looks like the the Big Shot, but Ebonite patent. Will this ball be exactly like the NVS that's coming out from Ebonite?

The core looks like a very rollie type core. Pictures of cores can never tell you what they will do on the lanes.

Looks fairly uninteresting, but I thought that about the Doom.

Core shape does only tell you a bit if you know that it is of single density. Looks a bit dull from the emotional side of design, but the numbers look promising and even simple designs can be very effective.

Well as the core does look to be very non-extravagant. The core numbers say something completely different. The RG is listed as 2.46 for a 15lb ball. This is a good RG rating for something that you want to start up soon. The Diff seems to be mild at .043, and to me this means that it can be very versatile and able to be used by all styles and on all conditions.
The most interesting thing to me about the ball is the core. The name of the core is what intrigues me “RESURGENCE SYMMETRICâ€. When I read this I seem to have the idea that there may be an asymmetrical version of this core to come. That to me is something that has been missing in the Columbia300 line in many years. The Apogee was a step in the right direction and seeing how this core is from the Ebonite umbrella corp. The Intermediate Differential could have strength not seen in a Columbia300 ball to date. I personally can not wait to see the strength of the asymmetrical version if there is one. Yet the way they named the core leads me to the conclusion that it just might be around the corner.

In the new catalogue this is what they say about the brand characteristics and personalities:
Columbia 300
Strong midlane and continuous ball motion across the entire product line. A cool legend that's back.
Ebonite
Versatile ball motion across the entire product line. A sophisticated brand that knows it's way around the lanes.
Hammer
Aggressive ball motion across the entire product line. You don't become a Hammer bowler. You either are one, or you're not.
Track
Skid/Flip ball motion across the entire product line. The perfect science for victory.
The fact that track is going to be nothing but skid/flip ball reactions explains why Wes is back with columbia. They can't really have him be out on tour with nothing but equipment that goes sideways.
