i'm convinced!
« on: October 05, 2005, 03:06:36 AM »
just wanted to let everyone know that i've changed my stance on my bowling equipment. for literally years now i have been the biggest supporter of storm equipment. jsut drilled up a columbia drive, and let me tell you, i have never had a storm ball or any other company's ball read the mid lane and STILL move on the back like this ball. i'm so impressed that i think i'm gonna order a power drive this week as well! you guys wouldn't beleive the dramatic difference in carry with this ball as opposed the my storm stuff. with the storm balls i just think i didn't match up well with their cores and covers. it was either too much bounce off the dry, and/or too little movement in oil.
i just hate that i waited this long to try different equipment. anyone else go through this? mike myrick:the newest columbia 300 user!

Ill agree with ya big columbia,  columbia 300 is putting out some pretty impressive stuff right now.....  the power drive is looking like its one hell of a ball for the price...  i havent drilled anything columbia since the reaction rev  and didnt care for that ball and have thrown brunswick eversince.......

the whole drive line  and the big and backyard bully's  are impressive balls, the u turns look like they are excellent balls as well......

the epx t1 is still questionable i think,  but i think if columbia puts out another one it will be a much better ball than this one now...........

i am prolly gunna drill a power drive and possibly a u turn (dunno which 1 yet)

who knows if i like those i may go all columbia  u never know

stopncrank... I'm in your corner, buddy. I have thrown mostly Storm equipment since I started bowling seriously and I think I've converted.

The ball that did it for me? COMPLETE CHAOS!

I got it used from a friend of a friend for only $25 and it's the best ball I've ever thrown. I've sold my X-Factor, and I'm going to bench my Xtreme (my Screamin' Banshee will stay in the bag). I just purchased an EPX T1, a Backyard Bully, and a Power Drive. They should be arriving either Monday or Tuesday (October 10 or 11). If they are anything like the Complete Chaos... Then I will convert COMPLETELY to Columbia. I'll keep you posted.

Some people say that Bowling is a lot like Golf.
It's fickle and precise, not to mention that the equipment is especially important.
I've been known to break golf clubs and throw them in lakes to take out my frustration...
Do you think I'd get in trouble if I chucked my X-Factor through the pro shop window?
