Help, EPX T1 cracked!

A buddy of mine bought a 1st quality 14# NIB EPX T1 off of the internet.  He had it drilled at his local proshop and it cracked during drilling.  The proshop operator said that they cannot help him out since he didn't buy the ball through them.  What can he do?  Will Columbia 300 help him out?  Who would he contact and how?  Thanks so much for your help in advance.

If he bought from a Web Proshop they may can help. You posted at a good place, sinve several ball reps for Columbia post on here.

Well usually you have to take the ball back to the place purchased from.  That's the reason why people should consider buying from there local pro shop.  Where is this pro shop at?  Maybe we can help out.  Please let me know.  Thanks.
