Rock On, Reaction Rev, and Rock On LE
« on: December 16, 2003, 06:06:03 AM »
Anyone know about the differences.

I mean LE looks the same as Rock ON but more polished maybe?

Also what about Reaction Rev vs Rock ON, specs and flip blocks look almost the same as do Rankings for hook in oil and dry from Columbia?>

Any opinions!?
Facts accepted also.

I loved all three of these balls.  The Rev to me was the earliest and most continuous.  There was no stopping it once it made its move.  I'd still love to get my hands on one with a 5 1/2 inch pin so I can drill it just like my old one.  The Rock On was a great fresh oil ball but it needed oil in the heads or else it would burn up.  I kept mine polished which brings me to the Rock On LE.  This ball was significantly weaker than the Rock On Original due to the mirror like high gloss columbia put on it.  I'm suspecting the coverstock is weaker too, more along the lines of the sport ball.  This was very skid flippy and gave a different look than the Rock on.

DP3,

Do you mean that the Limited Edition Rock-On is more skid flippy than the original Rock-On or the other way around???

Great info!!!  Sounds like me undrilled Reaction Rev will probably achieve what I want!

REgards,

Luckylefty
PS I was almost going to spend a pretty penny to get a Rock ON LE, what I wanted was the original Rock ON.
