Action Max?!
« on: February 04, 2007, 02:38:30 PM »
Will this ball work well for Heavy oil? Im considering getting one for tournaments(typically on flat sport shots & pba regional patterns), and want to be sure it will be strong enough. Any advice would be much appreciated!

Well I bought the Action Max just for the same purpose.  PAP is 5 1/4 over 3/4 up rev dominate player.  Had the Max drilled strong with some back end.

I used this ball in a tourney were they reoiled the lanes after each squad and I bowled the third squad (lefty) was the only one there.  Ball cleared the had a strong roll through the midlane and still had pop on the back end.
Couldn't be happier with the result

Action max is very good but like said the power drive sanded is actually more for oil than the max is. I use the action max on medium/heavy, i never see a flood but my power drive sanded is earlier and stronger rolling.
