The blue/oyster one is highly polished and has a different core. Both make it go longer and make it more useful when the lanes are wide open and you need length. It is intended for medium-light to medium oil patterns, depending on drilling, your speed and your "hand".
The B/R/T comes duller, a matte finish, I believe, and has a core that in combination with the cover makes it go into a roll earlier and hooks a half a notch more overall. It is intended for medium to medium heavy oil, depending on drilling, your ball speed, and your "hand", or if you have higher than average ball speed.
WIth a milder drilling on the original and a stronger drilling on the B/R/T, you could have a good part of an arsenal, although I'd prefer a weaker ball than the original as a step down from the B/R/T.
