Changing the surface on the Vow.

Just curious if anyone has changed the surface on the Vow down to 2000 or 3000 grit and what type of reation you got.

I have changed one of mine down to 3000, did not like that. Took it to 4000 and that tamed the wet/dry reaction for me.

I hit mine with a 2000 pad by hand just to knock down that Extra shine just a bit. I went from liking the ball to loving it. Just smoothed it out just a tiny bit for me but stayed clean threw the front. Much more useful for me now.
