Title: Staff Reviews: Smack Down
Post by: chrisleftwich on May 31, 2013, 09:45:10 AM
Smack Down
Bring-It Hybrid
We’re ready to Smack Down our competition with the all new Bring-It coverstock!  This hybrid cover will run over any medium to heavy condition with a strong mid-lane motion and great continuation.

SD Medium Rg Core
The Smack Down core has a medium RG and a high differential.  This core puts the tool in your hand to Smack Down any condition that gets in your way.  The medium RG helps the Smack Down get further down the lane before the high differential kicks in for some awesome continuation!

What To Expect
Expect to possess the ability to do exactly what the name says… Smack Down!  Medium to Oily conditions will not be able to stand up to you when you give them the Smack Down!

Barnes looked pretty good using this ball on the 52' pattern here at the summer swing events

How is this a review?  Seems to me you just copied the marketing material off of their website.  Am I missing something?

I did, this is for all staff members to post reviews of the ball.  We did this also with the Enigma in the same forum.

The impression I got from the subject title was a review of the ball by a staff bowler and not a company supplied info sheet.

Columbia Smack Down review..
Drilled: 60x4-3/8x45

Well first impressions pulling it out of the box were how awesome the looks of this ball are.
After drilling and putting it on the lanes the first time it was jaw dropping. This thing HOOKS and then it hooks some more.

Its reads really well threw the front part of the lanes.. Once it hits the mids and starts getting into a roll there is no stopping it. It heads left and doesn't quit.  No matter how much I moved left with my feet I was able to send this ball to the right and it continued to come back and crush through the deck.

I honestly find this to be more overall ball then my Enigma and I didn't think that could be done! Its a solid 3-4 boards left with my feet targeting the same down lane break point with more speed.

This is going to be one useful tool for me being a lower rev speed dominate bowler! I cant wait to get this ball in some tournaments!

This is the first ball you are going to want to get out of your bag game one on league night.
Or if you are in the market just looking for something that will give you a bunch of hook this is your new beast!
