Action Packed
« on: January 15, 2006, 12:24:22 PM »
Is this the new Columbia Epoxy ball that's been floating around or a Pearlized Action or what?  Anyone have any info on the Action Packed?

The Action Packed is not epoxy, if you liked your Action the Action Packed is a MUST have.  With this core and cover combo you get a reaction similiar to a pearl particle.

I hope its not the M80^2, that coverstock is too touchy in oil. Please be just a pearlized M80 like the Professional.

Major Action,  it is M80^2 but don't hesitate to throw this in oil.  I've had huge success already with mine.  It does react like a light load (very light) particle.  If you liked the Action you'll love the Action Packed.  Good luck.

We must have had a bad batch of Backyards in So Cal, every last one I saw went pretty straight.  But anyway, I hope its a good addition to the arsenal.....

Major action check to see if they were pin under drillings the core were much more dense in the backyard bullys than advertised. If you go with pin up drillings that retain energy you will see a whole different ball reaction.

My driller had his and another shop guy with pin down drillings they did not like the ball too much, they were told about the core being far more dense than it was supposed to be, so the balls rg was actually lower than the advertsied rg.

Mine is pin above ring and cg straight below it revs up very hard and backends more than anything else i own. If the action packed is the same cover and just the action core i think it will just overlap the backyard bullys reaction anyway.
