My loss is your gain - ball comparison
« on: May 08, 2005, 04:42:07 PM »
Was bowling decent in a recent tourney, bowling on a pair with a bowler with the best physical game I have ever seen!

See post in miscelleneous.

After two well thrown games with the bowling exceeding the scoring due to some 10th frame troubles I know I need a good game to finish.

Last pair was against a wall that my free arm kept hitting and also the shot was dryer!  I didn't seem to have any comfort in moving left due to the discomfort of free arm hitting the wall.

Also I needed to get a decent high score to make the cut.

Instead of finding a way to move left with my trusty El Nino Wrath I started looking for that great reaction to get great carry and score high all through the game.

Like.... a stupid ball test at the wrong time.

Next took out my Throttle R stacked over ring and proceeded to have too much lenght and too much backend.

Next I went to my Wired (stacked under ring, only 1 inch pin out).  This ball forced me deeper with my feet and the ball actually hung up in a little bit of au jus outside and barely made it back for a weak strike.

This continued.

Summary.  Of the three the Throttle R went the longest and created the most backend.  The El Nino Wrath was between in length and had a nice powerful flip to the hole but more even and predictable than the ThrottleR W.  (Drilled pin over ring and cg)

The third ball the Wired was the earliest and made you realize how much one is forced to move inside on dryer heads if one uses a low rg like this ball!

REgards,

LUckylefty
PS should have stuck with my old faithhful heavy pearl the El Nino Wrath and tried to move left despite the wall on one side.
