Looking for a C300 ball for lighter oil,and I'm trying to decide between a Super Trooper and Hyde.Has anyone thrown both?Which covers more boards?Appreciate any help.

If you want something for lighter oil, don't get the Hyde. Too much ball. Super Trooper won't flare a lot, but the Superflex cover might be a bit strong for light oil. Might be OK if you're high speed or low revs. If you're more of a power player, you might be better off with a Wild, Fear, or Trooper.
Tell us more about your style and the lane conditions.

I Agree with Strider. The Hyde and the ST are 2 different balls for 2 different purposes. Sanding the ST to make it like the Hyde or polishing the Hyde to try to make it like the ST and drilling it weak (its Rg differential is much gretaer than the ST's.) to try to make it like the ST would be an exercise in futility.
