TEC2 Holoflex...
« on: November 29, 2006, 02:12:23 AM »
Since I don't know that much about this type of coverstock, I'm asking you guys what I could expect from it..

The thing is that a pro shop here in Sweden have their own bowlingball, it's called "CHUZA" which means strike in mexican/spanish and it's manufactured by Circle.

Only 248 balls are made and I might get one just because of that..

Also you can only get it here in Sweden..

Coverstock: TEC2 with Holoflex
Rg: 2.590
Diff: 0.030
Colour: Dark Purple
Weight: 12 - 15 lbs.

Treat the cover extra nice, because once the "newness" is gone, it will never be the same.  Once broken, the glass beads can't be restored.  Keep/maintain  the cover as you prefer, don't let it get beat up to where it needs a resurface quickly.  Hopefully it will be aggressive enough to where you can keep it polished.  If you must scuff it, gently use Scotch Brite or Abralon, never sandpaper.

Ditto...I loved this cover on the Cuda 2000, but I can't tell you how many pro shop guys messed this ball up when they sanded it with sandpaper instead of scotch brite or an abralon pad.

With that cover, and those core specs, that ball should be awesome on medium volumes with carrydown.  I would love to have one of those for house patterns in my area.
