Hi Thedjs:
I used an Abralon Pad (dry-3000 grit). I drilled it 30 X 4 X 45.
My specs are: 17mph (off the hand)
12 degrees axls tllt
280 rev rate
Rt- handed
My best results were on medium-dry and dry. On these conditions, the ball got excellent length and very good recovery, with good carry. This is a ball that
does not come out of my bag on most other conditions. I have been throwing Columbia equipment for a long time. I recently began trying some other brands as well. My current Columbia arsenal is listed below:
Enigma -for heavy oil
Antics (2--both drilled differently)- medium/hvy oil
Disorder- medium/heavy (great control ball)
Take Down- medium/first transition
Smack Down- medium oil, but very good on fresh (flatter) patterns
Vow- medium/transition ( my opinion, their best pearl)
Crazy Antics- medium, medium dry (just above the Eruption Pro)
Eruption Pro- medium to dry
I am considering purchasing the N'Sane Antics, too. I bowl in 2 leagues. One with the THS, the other is a sport pattern league. I also participate in the PBA 50 regionals. Columbia balls give me good control on the tougher patterns. This is especially true with the Smack Down/Take Down combo.
I hope this helps. Good Luck!
