Action Packed Question
« on: June 29, 2006, 07:37:44 AM »
I have used this ball for 200 games so far. My center just changed the oil pattern and this ball is way to skid/flip and really snaps on the backend. I can't seem to keep it on the right side of the head pin with out it hanging out by the gutter (over/under).

From the information that I have given you, what would be the best ball of any company to use to compliment the Action Packed that will have a smoother backend but still a decent amount of hook.

Thanks

Before you go buying another ball, have you tried taking the shine off the ball (I'm assuming you have it polished.) down to about 1000 grit. I have my AP at 1000 and it's calmed down the backend quite a bit.

Wow

Thanks alot Jon and Matto.

I took my Action Packed to 1000 grit like you said, and i couldn't believe the difference. I was playing between 4th and 5th arrow out to wherever i wanted and it came back real strong.

With the factory finish i could play that line but it skidded way to far and came back late leaving all kinds of splits.

Thanks alot guys. Keep giving the advice.
