Well, I punched up my Action Packed a couple of weeks ago. I have had a chance to put a few games on it and here are my initial impressions.
First of all, I wound up putting the pin negative under my middle finger. I wanted to ball to get down the lane a bit more, so that is my reasoning for placing the pin further from my pap. The cg is under my ring finger so I could get the recovery down lane.
After throwing the ball on various shots, my findings are as follows:
Light, spotty broken down synthetics. Ball really started up in the mids due to the lack of oil. BUT, I could play this ball from anywhere. Played real deep or completely outside with my breakpoint on the one board. This ball turned over and kept coming.
Medium heads with a bit of carrydown. The ball got excellent length and then BOOM, hard left turn. It really is a go long, move strong type of ball. I was able to stay lined up on Monday night when they started to break down. Squished a 9 bagger between an open and a spare for a 268 game.
Overall, nice piece of equipment. It really revs up and takes off in the backend. I am not who branches away from Track all that often, but this ball could make me think otherwise. I plan on using it tonight for the entire league session. Let's see how that goes!
