The New Columbia 300 Outlook Is My New Benchmark Ball
« on: December 01, 2020, 05:52:31 PM »
When thinking about a solid ball in this price range I often want to see a ball that is early enough on the lane but not so early it won’t perform down-lane. This newest addition to the Columbia 300 line is without a doubt the best motion I want to see in my bag from a benchmark ball. For me this Outlook Solid is as controllable as they come and packs a wonderful punch with it’s amazing continuous motion through the pins. It not only looks good, it performs great too!
Obviously the solid Outlook will read sooner than the pearl. For me the Outlook Solid hooks at least 5-7 boards more than the pearl. Personally I found the Pearl version to be very straight and needed some surface to start up sooner. I’d say it’s perfect for a player that likes to stay straighter and not curve it too much. But on the other side of things, with the Outlook Solid, I see a superb motion that I can put in a variety of players hands and be happy to know they have a good benchmark motion in their bag.
