and man does this ball roll sweet. Drilled mine 5 1/4" from pap, 45 x 40 dual angle. On a variety of conditions, this ball picks up in the sweet spot of the lane and is as continuous as any ball out there. From all angles, this piece is very impressive. Imagine the midlane of a Momentum, but add much more continuation down-lane. For a Polished/Pearlized ball, I find the PURE SWING to be a lot more ball than anticipated.
Compared to my Full Swing and Bedlam both drilled the same way, the Pure Swing falls right in between the two. The Full Swing is about 4-6 boards stronger, with more traction in oil, and the Bedlam is about 3-4 boards straighter, with less midlane and more of that skid/snap motion.
With the removal of the Rivals and Momentum from the ball line, the Columbia 300 line was missing that med-heavy oil, benchmark type of ball. Now with the Pure Swing and soon-to-be released Total Bedlam, this is now the most complete product line on the market today.
