Title: Throttle/r
Post by: LuckyLefty on April 10, 2005, 02:54:34 PM
I will say this ball is NOT a skid snap ball.

It supplies a very rounded look for a pearl.

BUT when it makes its move it is fast and can cover some major boards and supply some major hit very quickly, but smoothly!

What's the verdict on this ball?  I have a used one that I was thinking about getting plugged and re-drilled, but the guy at the pro shop said the ball was a dud.  He said he's had a couple of people "with really good hand" and "they couldn't get the ball to hook."

I don't have a lot of hand, so I'm wondering if this is a good ball.  What are the ideal conditions?

It is my biggest backend ball!

Humungous.  I often have to play 13 to 1 at 30 feet. in my wet dry house

It barrels so hard off the gutter....Karumba!

Okay, so it's a good ball, but not really good for carrydown?

I really need something for carrydown.  With my summer league I never know when the backends are going to be fresh, or if the house was full of kiddie bowlers all day long.  One week they are so clean the balls just take off - next week nothing!

Would a Full Throttle, Reaction Arc, or Messenger Ti work better in carrydown?
