Is the Pure Swing much stronger than the Bedlam?
« on: February 03, 2010, 07:43:06 AM »

The Pure Swing shows a hook in oil of 36 with a backend of 46.  The Bedlam shows a hook in oil of 32 (4 points less) and a backend of 45 (only 1 point less).  Don't know how much difference the Full tilt 5.0 (Pure) makes vs the Full tilt 4.0 (Bedlam).

Has anyone thrown both of these balls?

Thanks for the help.

I have thrown both drilled very similar (pin above the ring) and the Pure Swing for me was at least 3-4 boards stronger than the Bedlam.

Yes it is stronger than the Bedlam, but to say it's much stronger, I wouldn't say that, just different

Ok.  Based on this and the other person who replied, it appears that these two balls would overlap somewhat and there would not be enough difference between them to have both.  It looks like to me that it would be better to have the Total Bedlam for the next ball up from the Bedlam.  What about a Total Bedlam, the Bedlam, a light oil ball and a spare ball for a four ball combo.?

How does this sound.

Personally, I would say Total Bedlam, Sharp Noize with a relatively strong drilling, Freeze with a relatively weaker drilling, and spare ball.

I'm sure that would work, however, I already have the Bedlam for the middle ball. I'm really trying to decide which ball to fit above that and it's looking more and more like the Total Bedlam.

Thanks for the advice.
