Bedlam vs Hammer Burn
« on: February 09, 2010, 04:38:49 AM »
I am currently throwing a Hammer Burn that I purchased right before the season started. I have been wanting to get a new ball for a few weeks now and my friend talked me into getting a bedlam. I was wanting something a little stronger and not so squirty than the Burn but with a similar skid/flip reaction. Dont get me wrong, i love the burn (had a 300 earlier this season with it) but it just seems so hit and miss. I was wondering how the bedlam compares to the burn from those of you who may have thrown or seen both in action.....just curious!

I actually threw both at an Ebonite demo. For me, the bedlam was a slight bit earlier and a little smoother off the spot. I would say you would have more control and predictability with the bedlam. The burn was longer and sharper for me.

I've compared the Psycho to the Bedlam. They look very similar. The Psycho was
a little longer and more angular. The Bedlam is a little earlier but still has a great backend.

Hey guys, thanks for all your help and input, it is greatly appreciated. I look forward to getting the bedlam in my hands. I do intend on using it in my monday league where there is a bit more oil than travel league. I think this ball is gonna be an awesome compliment to the burn when there is more oil.
