Tour Boss Pearl
« on: May 22, 2004, 03:25:46 AM »
I have a Tour Boss Pearl that I have brought back into usage lately, and i'm kicking myself for not using more often as the reaction is phenomenal.  However, as I continue throwing it, the reaction is starting to go, this ball probably has at least 300-400 games on it.  In looking for a "replacement" of sorts, i've come across a couple of balls (Crunch Time, Silver Streak Pearl) as options but am looking for other suggestions as well.  The TBP is drilled for length, more or less a 12:30 drilling (lots of easy length, nice snap) which is exactly the reaction i'm looking for in a replacement.  Don't want a big hooking ball (as i'm a high revs, medium speed player) so the Throttle/R is out of the question, but definitely looking for other suggestions in Columbia or any company.  Thanks much!

Messenger Ti B/S/P is probably the closest living relative to this ball, although I suspect the Tour Boss Pearl's RG was slightly lower.

* That Ti nugget in the middle of the core is an important ingredient in the mix.

The new AMF Justice Pearl and Columbia Wired (which may be a bit stronger in its backend strength) & the Ego (which might be slightly weaker in overall hook than the TBP) are also decent possibilities.
