Tour Trials Day #4
« on: June 03, 2006, 02:45:37 PM »
Chameleon Pattern - 39ft.

Well day #4 proved to be pretty similar to the previous 3 days. The only difference was the ability to swing the ball a bit more using the outside boards around 3-4 as a breakpoint. I started off a bit slow trying to play up the boards with the Action. The ball just wouldn't turn the corner so I decided to try the UTPP game 3. Pulled out a good game (222) but lost my reaction and switched to the PowerDrive Sanded.

My PDS is actually polished up pretty good and made a good turn off the dry so I got lined up with that for 244 and 278 playing about 9 to 3 but then lost my reaction there and was forced to move my feet left to about 19 and started swinging the ball from about 15 to 4 instead.

Couple of bad breaks for a 194 game and then a 233 in game 8. Game 9 I totally lost my reaction along with not carrying some good shots, for a nice 181 game. Overall I was +122 for the day, not too bad but considering it seemed like the field averaged 230 today, I was disappointed.

Last day is Cheetah so I expect some high scores from the entire field. Hopefully I can average 10 strikes a game and make a move

Thanks for all your support......JB

Jon, keep up the good shooting.  Your bowling this week has been very impressive to say the least, keep it up and go lights out tomorrow to make the jump.

Lefty,

I managed to bring 9 balls on the plane and shipped 4 to make 13. Here is what I brought.

Big Bully
Action
Action Packed
PDS Shiny
PDS Dull
U-Turn
U-Turn PP
Bully
Hyde
Power Drive
Jinx
Surge
White Dot

Pretty much tried to cover the spectrum of ball reaction. There are a couple balls at home that I probably could have scored better with since we have had to play outside angles the whole week, but oh well......
