Ricochet Rebound Underated
« on: October 05, 2005, 02:04:34 AM »
This is one powerful ball by Columbia. Can cover alot of conditions with simple adjusments, yet recieved very little press. Does anyone else like this ball? Why does it get so little attention?

We drilled this ball for a teammate that has slower ball speed.  We drilled it leverage, pin about 1:30, and keep it highly polished to 1000.  I had hoped that this ball would react similar to her deceased Cuda 2000 as it has the same cover.  However, the Ricochet is much flippier.  She does well with it, but it can get a little tough to control for her.  That's our fault for drilling it leverage.  I agree that this ball was under rated.  For the money this is a ton of ball with a lot of action.

Easily, the best columbia ball I've ever thrown.  My Rebound only comes out in money situations(pot games and tournaments) and it never fails me.  I actually have 2 of them.  I am selling the flipper layout Rebound if anyone wants one with about 20 games on it.

Hmm I have one that I have not even thrown yet, I got it in a trade. It is drilled sarge easter and it fits me, but I have been using other stuff. It sounds like it warrants a shot in the bag for a while.
