using a Out Burst?
« on: March 02, 2011, 01:54:38 AM »
i just got the Out Burst last nite -- layout is   40 x 4 x 35  pin above ring kicked to the right - balance hole at p3 --- i only got to throw it  for a few shots on fresh oil last night and wow! -- what a strong recovery this ball has. the ball is just flat out strong.  i really like how the ball rolls and has a very strong move down lane, but not uncontrollable. hits the pins hard! those of you that have this ball, have you left the cover oob or what changes have you made? i have left the oob so far.  i will post a review when i get some games on it.  but this ball looks extremely well especially for the price range.

I keep my outburst oob to blend out the wet/dry reactions some of my pearl equipment gets.  It blends the pattern really well, yet doesn't quit.  For me its very predictable and is overall a great ball in my opinion as well.  I have also tried polishing it and it gets through the front a little cleaner, but still makes that same predictable move.

just used the Out Burst for the first time in league -- first game 299  ( 7 pin )   ended up with 739.  all i can say is what a ball!  i did leave the cover oob  -- i was standing at 19 - 20 playing out to around 6 or 7 -- ball comes back extremley hard!! if i missed right by a board or 2 ball did recover, but dont miss left, also  must keep speed up with this ball and layout or see ya -- through the noise. but i like it, im more speed dominant anyways.  great ball from C 300.

used the Out Burst tonight for the second time  233 - 258 - 257 = 748 --- should have been better - whiffed one 10 pin,  couple of bad first balls, touch off speed ball will check early, other than that mostly stone 10's, one stone 8. i can already say that this is a great ball. very smooth down lane with a awesome move to the pocket and very strong hit. i have not been impressed with a ball like this in a long time.  simple moves left, and i was able to use this ball all night. i highly recommend the Out Burst!

used the Out Burst again yesterday on wood lanes the other 2 houses were synthetic - again was able to use all 3 games with slight moves left. first game 216 all shots in the hole left 5  ringing 10 pins so should have been a lot better.  then 258 -- 226 = 700  -- basically it was either a strike or most of the time a 10 pin,  --- so the bottom line is  3 sets and not one under 700 yet. ball is extremely powerful and i believe sometimes hits too hard. but so far its has become the only ball out of my bag.  i am now leaning towards getting a Burst so i can get  more length and have a killer 1-2 ball combo. great job C 300  on this ball.

 Maybe you should get a Magic Action. Nice scores and all with your new Outburst but I shot 280, 280, 246 with my old Magic Action Friday.

Kinda puts your little 700's to shame.....lol.
