People finding the strong marketing is backed up by exceptional league wet dry performance???
I'm talking about this! (http://"http://www.columbia300.com/")
OR
THIS (http://"http://www.columbia300.com/gear/balls.cfm?bid=196")
Those are strong words!!!
I have the Formula and have found it to be a real smooth wet dry ball with a very rounded backend...sort of the Icon2 length with the ICON rounded backend!
I also use the AMF VP2 with a tame the backend weighthole to be very friendly on this shot....What do you think....performance match the hype??

For me, it works nicely when my Action Packed is a little too strong off the dry, the UTPP will smooth it out and give me a more predictable motion in the mid-lane. I've struggled with this ball when the oil gets down the lane, but then again I have a bag full of balls that I struggle with on that condition so it's probably more a limitation of my game than a limitation of the ball. I really liked the Wow Pearl and this ball gives me a similar motion, just cleaner through the front and a little stronger move off the spot. I also had a Formula that I shot 300 with, but I never really cared for the ball that much because carry was so inconsistent and, in my opinion, bears no resemblance to the UTPP. I recently drilled an Action, Action Packed, and U-Turn Particle Pearl with the UTPP being my favorite and the most versatile for my game. Hope this helps.
