WEAK ROCK STAR
« on: August 27, 2003, 01:41:53 AM »
I have my rock star ball drilled to go longer on the lane and use it as a second ball for medium oil lanes, but somebody put a doubt on my mind saying me that my ball is the less agresive ball he has ever seen, so I need driller's advice please.
My 14lbs ball is drilled with the pin placed slightly to the left of my middle finger, in fact the pin have been half bitten by the hole of that finger. I am right handed.
any opinion will help. Thank you.

You'd have to know your Positive Axis Point to be sure, but the pin to the left of your middle finger sounds pretty weak.  Maximum flare is 3 3/8" from your PAP.  This is around 1-2" right of your ring finger for most people.  If you want it to go long, you want the pin a long distance from the PAP.  Sounds like it is drilled for how you want (weak).
