We have a couple of 15lbers at the shop that have been sitting around for about 6 months. I'm thinking that I might punch one, just for the heck of it.

I haven't seen anybody in our area using one. I'm curious what the ballreviews faithful thinks about it.

Got one at the mini in Vegas. Ball is better than expected. Reads the mid lane and has an strong arc to the pocket. Drilled 5x4 with pin just above and to the right of ring. Hitting power is very good and cover stock can be adjust easily. With any type of surface on the ball it needs oil up front to clear the heads. Not as much flip as my Ebonite One but way more backend than my Cell.

I have one, but I am not impressed. It isn't enough for the oil and too much for medium. I have changed the surface a couple of times, but haven't found the right one for me yet.

There have been a lot of lower-rev players around here that have had a lot of success with it. I personally have only thrown one that didn't really fit my hand...it was quite a bit of ball and lots of midlane and strong arc. I wouldn't think it couldn't be a beast on heavy oil at 1000 abralon.

Great ball, easy to read the midlane moves and IMO it does handle a bit of oil, not as much as the Resurgence, but it can handle some.

The moves you make with this ball are not big drastic moves

I drilled up a Columbia Momentum Swing. Not b/c I really wanted one, but we had three in the shop and haven't been able to move them. I thought maybe I could drill one and maybe showcase it enough to sell the other two....lol

The pin is above the ring or about 4 3/4 pin to pap. The cg is stacked below the ring. No balance hole.
In box condition, it was long and smooth. It didn't exactly thrill me. Let me side bar for a moment.

--I've given up on Abralon. I just can't seem to replicate the reaction that I want with abralon. So, I bought some wet/dry sandpaper today.

I hit the cover with 800 grit paper after 10-15 shots in OOB condition. This really made the ball come to life. Earlier, aggressive and continous. I moved 3 and 2 in from box condition. I started deeper than I have all year on our house shot.

This ball, with this surface, gave me the look I've been looking for all year on our house shot. I was able to play the oil and still not get an overreaction off the dry boards.

Glad to hear you drilled one up, this ball is a really good piece of equipment.

I got one from vegas as well.. not sure if I want to keep it or not.. it is a $600 ball though.. lol.

I got one of these from Vegas as well, it also cost me $600, but it came with a cool bag. Enough about that, about the ball, I drilled it 5 1/2 Pin to PAP with the extra hole on my PAP. One thing I did not like about the ball, when it was out of the box it really wanted to shine up quickly and lose its reaction after a game or two. Therefore, I decided to shine it up and now it has really came to life. After shining it up, I get a ball that revs up quickly and then slows down on the back end allowing me to play in the burn. It is a good come down ball from the Virtual Gravity and has been then only ball in my hand in the last month. This ball is the perfect house shot ball to create area as it can still hit when you miss into the oil but when you miss into the dry you do not get that over reaction. Good luck with this ball as I see this more for a medium pattern, but the one thing about this ball I enjoy is the amount of messengers I get when throwing it.

I used it again Wednesday night in our scratch league(4 games).

Game 1: 213
A few 10 pins. I wasn't clearing the ball all that well.

Game 2: 266
Terrible shot in the 2nd frame, X-open-X thru the 11th, 7 count.

Game 3: 290
High leaving a 6-10, spare, sheet.

Game 4: 249

Series 1-2-3: 769
Series 2-3-4: 805
Series: 1018

I think she is a keeper.

Well we had a great run with the Momentum. But the swing was sad. Even at 2000 it just didn't seem to handle the midlane well. They were a tough sell.
But then we polished them up and sold them more for a lighter pattern.

Ball looks decent polished. Not as good as the Momentum, but decent.

BTW, how are you doing with the Power Swing?

this ball handles plenty of oil.

The Momentun Swing is a great compliment to the Resurgence
