Just wondering which C300 ball will always be in your bag even if its years old?
I'm cheating because I have two.
The older one is a Burst
The new one that I seem to be able to use on anything is the Vow.
How about you guys?

Cuda/C 2000
Violent Eruption
Strawberry Tour Boss
Messenger Ti Pearl (Blk/Gold)
Original Purple Beast
Super Beast
Super Beast Titanium
May be others but thats off the top of my head for now. As far as in my bag now..the Violent Eruption goes everywhere right now.
-
Ransom Demand!
-
Hands down it's the World Beater. I know a few people who didn't like it, but it works for me.
-
Perfect Rival
-
Pearl Aftershock
-
You guys are going to laugh but for me its a old orange and yellow jazz its allways in my bag just seems to just work when nothing else does.
-
Yellow Dot Bleeder
Cuda/C Pearl
Blue Pulse
-
White dot. Spare ball wins me more money than anything else.
-
Yellow Dot Bleeder
Cuda/C Pearl
Blue Pulse
With you there.
I'll go a bit further back and say Black Diamond.. but that was before I *really* started to take my game seriously.
That aside:
Pearl Quake (first 300 ball)
Blue Pearl Pulse. I was there and shot 698 when Sonnenfeld shot the first sanctioned 900.
BL.
-
Ricochet
-
I'm with Tommy, hands down, yellow dot
that ball tore up the old wood lanes THS
-
I'd have to say the original black U-dot.That ball was 5-6 boards more total hook than any thing we had seen up until that point. It still has use on drier conditions.
-
Jade Piranha/C
-
Reaction Rip, man, that ball went sideways. Honorable mention, Wicked.
-
Rock On, Tour Boss, Cuda/C, and Piranha/C Jade
-
Blue Aftershock, by far.
drillbit

I have a long list of ones id like to have tried and a short list of ones ive owned. Hands down its the Rage. (Black)
-
My Ran$om. HANDS DOWN!
-
Outburst. Rolled my 4th 300 soon after I got it. Still rolling great. When I get in a slump, I pull it out and it brings me back.
-
Man you guys are listing some great golden oldies!
I forgot about the the Original Purple beast! Would loooove to find one of those undrilled!
-
Urethane Beast.
-
1974 Shore D Pro and a 1978 Yellow Dot 8K "bleeder" still have both in the basement though at my age can't use 16's any longer. :) Nor would I want to though on China probably could use them in the dry.
BTW....as an FYI Columbia Industries started in Ephrata, WA and Columbia is named so since for it's location in proximity to the Columbia River.
-
1. Boss Pearl
2. SuperCuda/C Pearl
-
The Rival might be the best bowling ball I've ever thrown
-
Reaction Rip, man, that ball went sideways. Honorable mention, Wicked.
Forgot about those two. The Wicked was awesome. The ball I had the most success with that I forgot was the original Action. That ball was probably the most versatile ball I ever saw. Between layouts and surface changes I never saw a condition that it couldn't handle. I had three at one point. Two pin up, One polished 5 1/2" pin no x-hole, one Box finish 5" with x-hole, and one 4" pin down with x hole box finish. Those things were tanks!

You are my brother from another mother.

1. Wine U-Dot
2. Burgundy Shadow/R
3. Black Knight
-
Here's another one!
The Spirit
San Antonio Columbia 300 was definitely my favorite brand of all time in retrospect after looking through this thread.
-
FULL SWING. Greatest ball i've ever owned. I've gone through about 5 or 6 of those since it was released. I would also say the Out Burst is a close 2nd.
-
Love me some C300! My fave are;
Chaos, reation ricochet, blue surge, tec messenger, Cuda!
-
The original Pulse. The one with the clear looking pin.
-
Haven't thrown c300 in about 10 years but I would say my favorite was the Wow Pearl. I can't believe no one has said the EPX T1! Lol!
-
I actually like Columbia equipment quite a bit. My favorite all time is the Momentum. This ball was and still is amazing for me!!! 6 honor scores with it last year (yes 2012) with a 5 year old ball. Next is the Jinx. Shot 300-300 848 with this ball and several other high sets. I still have a new one in my basement that I will drill sometime soon.
New stuff, the Violent Eruption is great as is the Vow.

-
Original Pulse, Pearl Beast, Action, and now i would have to say Enigma already have drilled up 4 of them.
-
Old school.
Yellow Dot "bleeder" serial numbers with R or Q !
Original Blue Dot - No other bowling ball with a harder coverstock ever! And, I love the glass-like sound when it hits the pins.
-
Favorite is the Ti-Pearl Messenger Blk/Gold. Over 10 years old and performing better than when it was new!!
-
I have a 3 way tie.....
Jade Piranha/C
Original Orange Piranha
Purple Resin Beast
-
I remember having the Cuda/C and the Original Orange Piranha. Those were hands down my favorite balls from C300. The Piranha is what got me to switch from Brunswick . Then the Cuda/C was something special. That was my favorite from the San Antonio Columbia 300.
-
When I did use Columbia -- old school - I would have to say the black U dot --- recently I will say the Outburst.
-
Hands down, the original Resurgence..
There is not even a close 2nd for me and I have tried many C300 pieces..
-
I was offered a great deal on a classic U2,I'm seriously considering it.I'm curious to see how it compares to old school urethane!
-
ive only been using them since the buyout but the rival and eruption are my favorites. the bedlam was a great transition ball for me
-
Reaction Richochet. Something about those particle pearls...
-
Wine u-dot and all the 'cuda/c's loved them all. .Haven't used a c300 ball since original resurgence that 1 was pretty good too!
Thanks
Lefty

Backyard Bully from San Antonio,TX Plant
and
Full Swing from Hopkinsville,KY Plant

My Blood Red Beast, still throwing it today. My pro shop guy asked to Roll it the other day and said he wished he could get his hands on one. Its the first ball I pull out, its my benchmark ball.
It rolls so smoothly and I can read the lanes quickly with it. Still hits like a freight train. Love it!
-
I'm Still throwing a Throttle R. Love that ball! Looking to buy either a Antics or a Smackdown this friday. can't seem to make up my mind tho.
-
Just though of a good one. Reaction Ricochet/Ricochet Rebound. And the Action. The Action was the only ball I carried three of just about everywhere. One of the most versatile balls I've ever thrown amongst 250-300 balls.
-
Wish some days I could punch up pieces that worked like the
Wine U-Dot/Black U-Dots of old. Shot telephone numbers with both of those balls...Anybody know of either of these NIB available anywhere....Just kidding, sort of.
-
Alter Ego, Pulse(s), Rage.
-
Power Surge. With its neon purple coverstock, the Surge really looked great. Early revving and not that much backend; had a very smooth and even arc, so the Surge was fairly easy to control.
-
Chaos - shot my first 300 with that ball.
-
Reaction Rev-shot my first 300 with it. Also loved the Cuda C, Wicked and Wicked BRT
-
Outrage, pearl Aftershock.
-
Icon!!
Ti Messenger was great too!
My wife's vote is the Beast Pearl
-
RAGE
BACKYARD BULLY.
-
Formula!
-
Tour Boss, Cuda/C, Rock On
-
Cuda/C & Cuda/C Pearl.
-
Super Beast Ti
-
I see some love for the Rage. Great ball in my hands. Before my Ego developed a bad crack addiction, it was still the most versatile ball i have ever had. My V2 was good, the Ego was just as good and played on a larger variety of lane conditions. The Rock on was great, too.
-
I don't have it in the bag anymore, but the Strawberry Tour Boss will always be my favorite C300 piece, that ball was amazing!
-
Icon2....still using and still working great at times!
REgards,

Big Bully. Had a pair with different drills. Worked great at Nationals when it was in Baton Rouge in the early 2000's. There were a lot of good ones over the years. First 300 with Black U-dot. Always had a Blue Dot for spares.
-
Mass Eruption
-
Black U-Dot(had several). Full Throttle, Throttle-Up.
-
Yellow dot bleeder, pearl pulse and blue dot. Got my first 300 with the blue dot. ;)
-
Black u dot
-
Yellow Dot Bleeder, hands down
-
Had the most success with a world beater
-
piranha
-
Old school Columbia yellow dot and the Cuda C. New school the Resurgence Revival and my new fav the Vow. Next ball may be the Smackdown. I need to see it in league play first.
-
World Beater and Piranha/C
-
The Icon
-
The White Dot it has been helping me make 6 and 10 pins for years. Also a few one pin spares when straighter is better. Lasted longer then any other ball I have used and as I see it there is no bowling without it. Just getting a new one when this one wears out.

Superbeast
Beast

Yellow Dot
Black Udot
