Ball companies learn from other ball companies.  Even with no info about what the covers are, the core numbers tell alot about potential performance.  Both the Resurgence and Rival have core numbers that cause me to remember the Track Equation and the Magnum series from Dynothane.  At some point I will want to try one of these new balls because the core numbers match up well with my game.

Are they ever going to supply specifications of balls made prior to the buyout?
Or is there another way to find out?
I have an Action Attack and don't know how to find out what the out-of-box finish is on this coverstock.

The drilling instructions have a mistake.  The #3 and #4 drillings show the same picture, but the pin to pap distances are stated differently in the drilling description text.
