I only threw about 8 or 9 shots, and I passed it to a cranker who owns my original 16# Spirit (and kills with it). Both of us agree that the coverstock plays 'weaker' than the original 'good' black Spirit coverstock, in that it pushes farther down the lane and is not as good in oil. However, that may not be a bad thing. It's a nice looking ball, and the hit seems good , ESPECIALLY FOR HIM. I am not going to put up a Spirit II review yet. The way this one is layed out never works for me on a house shot. I am going to buy a 4" pin and lay it out closer to my 15# Black Spirit:
