Question about Columbia Warranty

I just had a Wild crack on me from grips down to the thumb. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do.

Columbia's Warrenty stinks.  The biggest reason I did not choose them was they do not warranty any ball that has inserts or slugs.  Unless they have changed, they won't replace the ball because they will say that the crack was a result of the glue ised on the inserts.  They used to put that disclaimer on the boxes of their balls, BUT they may have changed in the last year, but I doubt it.  Hope you can get some satisfaction from them.

Good luck.  I had a core seperation on a Columbia ball.  Don't know how it happened.  Don't care to know.  Since I bought the ball online, my local pro shop wasn't very cooperative and the local distributor for bowling products all but told me to, "Pound sand."  I've since e-mailed Columbia with a serial # and a copy of the paypal receipt which at least provides a date of sale and have yet to receive even a reply from them.  I guess I have to thank them.  I've been looking for a new boat anchor and this might just do the trick!

I don't think any manufacturer (even Lane #1) warrantees balls with inserts.  Superglue and resin don't seem to mix.  If you bought locally, take it back to the proshop and see what they say.
