Wow Pearl still impressed and a question.
« on: March 19, 2008, 12:46:17 AM »
This ugly Brown turd lookin ball is still a very powerful impressive piece.

Frankly it is very similar to my prettier and great Awesome revs.

This ball for me is pin down and near ring with the cg out and a weighthole on VAL.  MB about 2 inches off thumb.(if there was one).

This ball at about 1500 and quite glossy supplies a ton of midlane AND backend!

Lots of hit when thrown freely!

I have a friend who used this almost exclusivlely for a year and won a lot of cash(just altered the surface).

Anyone compared this old monster to the Action Attack in their travels?

We used to call this ball two things:

The Flipside MOM when you turned it upside down

And "I know why they call this ball the WOW now, because when someone throws it, they say WOW! This ball sucks!" lol

I remember there was one of these in the shop that had been plugged and re-drilled 4-5 times, always changing hands.  We ended up selling it for 12 bucks to some dude, I guess he likes it as it hasn't been back in years.  The one we saw looked terrible. Colors and reaction.

I'm surprised.  This ball except for it's ugly color supplies nothing but power all thru the lane.

Many positive reviews and many top tourney bowlers loved it on this site.

The guy that sold it to me had raved about it's performance and as I stated I believe my friend won near $30,000 with his.

I see it as a solid version with near similar performance to my Awesome revs...or.

Mine is almost getting stronger this year!  I believe it is quite old!

Great core in a lot of other good balls.  AMF Victory SPT(good looking), Track Revmaster....and some others I forget.

I hate having to throw something so ugly but it keeps wanting to impress me!

Continuing to be the areamaker for me.....I get to almost play like a righty....

Stand Right....fling left!

Powerful all the way thru the lane!

Sounds pretty much how mines drilled. Its getting mailed up to me soon and will be very interested to compare it to the power drive. Have used it polished and scuffed, big even arc with surace but flip monster when glossed up!!!

It is surprisingly one of the strongest balls I have ever used....some angularity also.

REgards,

PS just a little cleaner and more usable more often for me than say a Brunswick Eliminator or Reaction Roll...
