I think their excuse before was something like "Oh well we can't regulate what goes on in the misc. forums"...
I notice the same cycle every few months. Something happens, everyone gets angry and goes Frankenstein on the site and a riot ensues, someone suggests another site to go to and everyone attacks them, changing the focus of the riot and starting a flame war, causing a couple people (regulars) to leave the site and then everyone is like "oh no, ---- left that's horrible, this site is declining" and a general conversation of depression ensues until everyone forgets about it. Add in repetitive questions about things that are easily found through a search, a couple fights about that, the fights in the misc-non bowling forum about religion and poltics, another cool off period, more repetitive questions, a sporatic fight about something/someone in the PBA, more repetitive questions and then the next outrageous thing to start the next riot and the next cycle.
EDIT: I also forgot about the couple of people who insult the ones doing the complaining (which usually also starts a fight), also appearing in some of the other fights to instigate some more. Can't forget them.
But I guess it's no fun knowing how the site works, right?
