Ok, we have made changes so that users who are in your block list will now have their posts completely blocked in any topic you read. If they're quoted by someone else it is going to show up. Also, if they have started a topic, that topic won't show up in the board index or in the "Show unread posts" area.
If you want someone's posts to be hidden, add them to your
ignore list and make sure "Hide messages posted by members on my ignore list." is checked
here. If you don't want pm's from them, select "All members, except those on my ignore list" from the "Receive personal messages from:" dropdown
