How to skip MyInfo page and jump straight to forum???

In the old format, we could jump directly to a forum when we wanted to visit BR.  Now with the change, that capability has been lost.  If I try to go directly to a forum page, I get routed to the MyInfo page (which I have no need to look at), have to click the FORUMS link at the top and then click yet again to get to the forum of choice. 

 

Aside from the PITA element of that, is there any rational reason why we lost that capability (other than trying to increase individual page views)?
