Why does McAfee warn me about opening this site?
« on: June 26, 2012, 09:11:17 AM »
Recently every time I log on to ballreviews McAfee directs me to a warning page.  Does anyone know why?

Thanks,
Barry

There was a thread about this a month ago, thought it would've been addressed after that. Ever since the site switched designs I've been getting the McAfee alert also, but I just disregard it.

Yep, I found the old thread. That one is on me. I do think the issue is there because of the earlier virus stuff but McAfee should have automatically removed us from the warning list once that was cleared up. Either way, they have been contacted. Thanks for the heads-up!

Apparently they just needed a push to review things. I'll try to get them to correctly categorize us later.
