How to make a ball go further before hooking
« on: January 21, 2013, 07:15:52 PM »
Any advice?

My bowling ball is the ultimate angular one
XL 1200 Reactive cover

Should I sand it to 4000 grit?

If the 1200 in your post means the surface is 1200 (for some reason), then yes, sanding to 4000 will take it quite a bit further down lane.  You could also try using polish.  As for your delivery, you can add a little loft, or you can try extending your follow through.

cav, I had that ball at 1000 grit when I sent it out to you, so you should try bringing it up to 4000. If it still reads too early, throw some polish on it. That cover is very versatile.
