I just recently bought a storm rapid fire pearl.  Now my question is, storm recommends using the reacta shine polish on this ball.  How often does this polish need to be applied.  I clean all my equipment after I get done using it with power wash.  Also, I don't have a spinner so the polish is applied by hand.  Looking forward to some replies.  Thanks

Like any other pearl: when the scratches start to make the ball too early reacting, then add a dose of polish.
There is no set number of games because it depends on several fatcors that vary wildly: rev rate, amount of oil protecting the lane, age and condition of the lanes, whether they are synthetic or wood.

The number of games could be as low as 15 for a high rev player bowling on real old wooden lanes or it could be 50 - 75 games for a low rev player on well kept, new synthetic lanes.

You have to keep an eye on the track for wear and tear and another eye on the ball reaction AND understand when the early reaction is due to wear on the ball or due to less oil being used on the lanes.

Well I just seen this so sorry for bringing it back from the dead however I feel it is better then going and making another thread. I have a gravity shift I had brought up to 2000 abralon with polish for drier lanes(low revs and speed) now I have a green vibe OOB finish with polish(tend to throw this with more revs and create more angle) my question for yall is why do I get only about 20 or games from my gravity shift before polish starts wearing off to the point where my track becomes dull while my vibe takes around 50 or so games to do the same?

different coverstocks react differently to polish and wear faster then others. But It could also be the way the polish was applied, where you were throwing the ball on the lane, etc.

There are any number of possible reasons for this. My guesses are
- the simplest one might be the cover of the Gravity is softer than Vibe.
- the center where you use the Gravity has more worn out lane surface than the place where you use the Vibe.
- possibly you use the Gravity where it is drier and that lane surface has less oil to protect it from scratching the surface.
- The Gravity has a much lower Rg and it will rev up much earlier than the Vibe with its 4000 grit + polish surface.
- once a ball has had its surface changed or modified by any method, it always seem to me to get roughed up much quicker than its original stock surface.
- Not sure HOW you got the Gravity to 2000 grit. You say, "with polish". It is possible that it's not 2000 grit. Polishes do not automatically take balls to xxxx grit. Every result is very variable when using an abrasive polish. here's no guarantee it's what you think it is. It can be close, but there's no way to measure this.

There may be others that don't occur me at this moment. Other people may have alternate suggestions.

Sorry let me rephrase that I had it taken up in grit from 1500 to 2000+polish Also the vibe gets used on the same lanes just I have to play much much deeper(like this as it makes me get out of my comfort zone. Also the coverstock could factor in. It just seemed sort of odd to me that the vibe which revs up much much better for me wouldnt wear as quick.

How did you get it to 2000 grit?/

If you used 2000 grit Abralon, then you took it DOWN to 1000 grit US or CAMI scale. I am fairly sure that the "1500 grit polished" from Storm is 1500 grit US or CAMI grit grade. Abralon is graded using FEPA (European) standards.
2000 grit FEPA = 1000 grit CAMI.

If you used 2000 grit US or CAMI grit sandpaper, then you're fine.

If you use the VIBE at 4000 grit and play deeper than with the Gravity, I suspect the Gravity is too rough to play equally deep - not enough oil for the Gravity. Remember the Gravity also has a much lower RG and more flare than the Vibe.

For me with the gravity it just doesnt rev up even on the main lanes I play on where you need strong equipment or a lot of hand to play deep and well I dont have a lot of hand so I have strong equipment and everytime no matter the lane the vibe will outhook the gravity shift however the gravity shift is also more consistant for me even though top weight and side weights are identical on each and the pin the vibe is in a weaker position.
