Odd. I find it necessary to put a very thin coat of Brunswick polish on. I can almost lather the Legends on and not get the skid that Brunswick High Gloss gives me. So I am more careful with Brunswick. Legends polish I can more easily put and stop anywhere I want and get the skid I need. I find Snake Oil, for me, to be half way between Brunswick and Legends in application, but I find less skid with Snake Oil. I have to put a good dose on in order to create a fairly high gloss but I do not get excessive skid, just good skid, then the base underlying grit takes hold and POW!, so to speak.

Jim,

Try a 600 grit sanding on a ball you know and like then a light dose of Snake Oil. I say again "light" dose. You can always restore the ball, if you don't like it.

The sample pack of Resurrection and Snake Oil, can do maybe 3 - 4 balls. It shoudl give you a good feel for how it operates. AFTERWARDS, I ordered an 8 oz bottle of each. I should have ordered a quart of each!!!!!

Big Jake - Aren't you glad you ordered the quarts!?!? lol.

As for Resurrection yes it does actually alter the surface from 400grit through 5000grit to an 800 grit matte, then it puts a slight sheen on the ball. The 800 grit sheen base is the perfect base for polish as well. Our products work hand in hand, and once we finish developing our cleaner it will truly be a 1-2-3 punch.

You know it was kinda strange about my "Yeah-Baby" because I had given it a hot water bath a couple of times and it only reponded very little so when I tried the Resurrection I was still wondering what to expect and WOW! what a great surprise I had.

Yup! these two products are "the-real-deal-holy-field"

I have had a chance to play around with the sample bottles of both resurrection and snake oil I had ordered for our shop.  More positive feedback for both..  the resurrection really does seem to "revive" the coverstock of equipment.  Our lane mechanic had an old critical mass with what appeared to be 1000's of games on it.  The ball had the typical oil-slick finish on it and basically no reaction.  A combination of two cycles through the rejuvenator (oil removal) and an application of resurrection and the coverstock of the ball actually had a "tacky" feel to it again.  The next night in league, our mechanic took it out and shot his best set ever with it (680's) and said he never remembered that ball reacting as it did.  We had just ordered a few quarts of "other" polishes, but once they are used up, we will definitely be ordering some more resurrection.

I finally caved last night and ordered the one two punch package. I really can't wait to throw something on the spinner and hit it with both products. After reading all the posts I'm fairly certain that both products will match up with my game and my customers very well. I'm also very impressed with how quickly my order was processed and shipped, I ordered it late last night and it shipped out early this morning!

Finally received Snake and Resuurrection and applied to my Break Pearl.....  Haven't gone to the lanes yet, but DAMN!!! ... ball was so tacky, I nearly lift it from my spinner with one hand!!!! (yes, I have the strength to do it )

I will be hitting the lanes tomorrow for some practice (league on Monday) to witness the outcome.  I'm also curious about the tape as well.  I currently use the blue Hada Patch (quickest release).

Gonna hit my Domination with it now.....

FWIW, seems like a real winner!!!

Just hit my Rotogrip Venus with the Snake Oil and could actually palm the ball it was so tacky.
