I just purchased the cheapest Vortex. 1/3 horsepower single speed. This has little to no vibration and is more than adequate for surface adjustments. I'm very pleased with my purchase so far.

Anytime! You're always welcome. I'm having a blast sanding and poishing my "balls".

I know to a proshop guy this stuff is tedious but it's a lot of fun when you are just starting out.

If you're buying a ball spinner, I recommend Vertex or Innovative. Do not buy a Jay Hawk or Donkee as they are subject to vibrations.
