4 or 6 sides

Do those of you with spinners do 4 or 6 sides when sanding ? If 4 what are your steps. I start with the finger hole up.

From all of my experience with resurfacing and attaining the out of box performance.....for small surface adjustments you really only need to do two sides. When resurfacing you can do two sides, but then rotate the ball 90 degrees when you go to the next grit to maintain a perfect sphere.

Unless you need a crosshatch for a heavy condition, 4 or 6 sides is not really needed.
