I need to polish my bowling ball tonight for my league. I have no polish and the proshop at the bowling alley is closed. Is there any other way to create more length at home? Thanks!

Depending on how ruff it is.
Car wax, car polish, soft scrub,
throw it in the lustre king, borrow a bottle of polish from someone
at the lanes.

Whatever you do, don't put it the Lustre King!!

The lustre king's normally have a car fax type of polish, can't think of what it is really called, the polish will get into the pours of the ball and not allow the ball to react as designed, kill the ball to a point. To get the ball back to what it was will require a resurface after the lustre king, so be careful going this route. Best bet is to get there early, find someone with polish and get to work on it.

Thanks, I'll do that! LOL I haven't seen a Luster king in years :-)

In a pinch you can use a paste made of water and baking soda. The soda will actually clean the pores from oil and dirt as well.

Or you can use a car POLISH (not wax). Be sure it doesn't contain any wax. A lot of folks use Finesse It II.-- JohnP
