Availability of TriZact kits?
« on: September 22, 2006, 02:49:01 PM »
There were kits sold for or by Brunswick when they had all of their proactive balls on the market.  They came with 4 holders and 5 trizact discs.

Does anyone know if these are still available?

This is the only Bowling supply place that I knew of which carried the kits:
http://www.bowlersdiscountsales.com/store/page32.html,
specifically as kits. Several places, including Innovative Bowling,
which has many Trizact products on their order form,
http://www.innovativebowling.com/orderform.htm.

I originally ordered mine from Innovative. Hardly use them these days but I still have them.

Think anyone would buy a never used starter kit for $50 shipped? 2 Cerium Oxide pads one 5 micron disc, a 10 micron disc, a 35 micron disc, and 4 of the large yellow blocks that take the pressure sensitive adhesive backed discs

The problem is no one "believes" in Trizact any more. Brunswick has preached that their newer particles can be affected by wet/dry sandpaper. Maybe some people using Legends Diamond particles who can't seem to affect their coverstock with "plain" wet/dry sandpaper.

I still have some of the older Brusnwick Particles (Riot Zone, Shock Zone and Power Groove Plum Particle which need Trizact to affect those brutally hard (ceramic?) particles.

You could try posting this in the Legends forum (tell them I sent you. )  One person had the devil's own time fixing a chip for a Diamond particle ball and eventually had to have Galen at Lanemasters send him some special pads for his Haus machine. (check for the post about 2 - 4 weeks back.)
